AMBER PALACE

Amber is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it was a bastion of the Kachwahas of Amber. This Palace is made entirely of red sandstone and white marble. The beauty of this palace is enhanced by the breath-taking vista of the Maota Lake in front. Amber palace is nearly seven centuries old with a legendary past.

CITY PALACE

City Palace is located deep within the walled city. While the complexity was conceived and built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. This is a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture. The City Palace Complex includes the Mubarak Mahal and the Maharani’s Palace. 

JANTAR MANTAR

This is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is considered to be the largest of the five astronomical observatories. This is built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. Jantar Mantar contains sixteen geometric devices. These devices are designed to measure time, track celestial bodies and observe the orbits of the planets around the sun. Along with an Interpretation Centre to understand the working principles & chronology of the observatory.

HAWA MAHAL

Hawa Mahal is the Palace of Winds. This is a unique five-story structure that is a blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture, and the exterior, with its small latticed windows. These jharokhas resembles the crown of Lord Krishna. This is built from pink sandstone which is an iconic landmark. Visitors can view their complete magnificence from outside.

ALBERT HALL MUSEUM

The inspiration for the museum got from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. It displays a wide range of metal objects, wood crafts, carpets, stone and metal sculptures, arms and weapons, natural stones and ivory goods, while it also has a huge collection of miniatures from different cities.

NAHARGARH FORT

Nahargarh Fort sits proudly on a ridge of the Aravalli Hills, creating an impressive northern backdrop to the city of Jaipur. This Fort is built by Sawai Madho Singh. It has 12 matching boudoirs for the queens and a suite for the king. They are all connected by corridors decorated with delicate murals.  The Fort is a favored spot for local picnickers and looks brilliant at floodlit at night. This Fort presents a glittering view of the city lights.

JAIGARH FORT

The fort is located 15 kilometers from Jaipur, built by Sawai Jai Singh II. It has ancient construction which still retains most of its imposing citadel appearance. 

JAL MAHAL

This is one of the most wonderful sights in Jaipur. Jal Mahal or Lake Palace is having the construction of the light, sand-colored stone walls and the deep blue of the water make for a wonderful contrast. It appears to float in the center of Man Sagar Lake.

SISODIA RANI PALACE AND GARDEN

Sisodia Rani Palace and Garden is located 8 kilometers from Jaipur. It is laid out in Mughal style and painted with the legends of Radha and Krishna. This garden is multi-tiered and has fountains, watercourses, and painted pavilions. 

ZOOLOGICAL GARDEN
